Frequent Questions

Does it hurt when you get hit by a paintball?

In general, paintballs don't hurt but they do sting. Paintballs are designed to break on impact and distance has a lot to due with the impact velocity. If you get hit from a long distance shot, chances are you won't even feel it.

Does Futureball do repairs and upgrades on paintball guns?

What is the deal with calling your paintball gun a marker? Is it a gun or a marker?

The whole "paintball marker" vs. "paintball gun" issue stems from the negative view of guns in the mainstream media. The paintball industry tried to distance themselves from that point of view and decided to start calling paintball guns, paintball markers.

I've also heard people say "guns shoot bullets and markers shoot paintballs." You should feel free to use either paintball gun or paintball marker. Most seasoned paintball players prefer to use the term paintball marker.
